Peter, the CEO and Co-Founder of Juna, came to Polyform with an idea to create an STI testing kit for Gen Z that they would feel comfortable using privately, at home. Our challenge was to create a brand that would resonate with this generation and resemble successful Gen Z brands like Glossier and Care/of.
In our Discovery Process, we overshadowed the challenges of the industry with insurance complexities and healthcare regulations. We wanted to make Juna’s brand feel like a complete service, from remote consultations to buying kits and delivering results to providing app support. Always thinking in a Gen Z-centered brand voice.
The Problem
Since launching the Juna web app, the team has launched social media channels, a podcast, and massively successful marketing campaigns to support their mission to improve the sexual wellness of Gen Z. Their success has been highlighted by TechCrunch and others, leading to a successful round of fundraising and expansion into other categories of wellness, all powered by the platform and brand developed all with the help of an amazing team.
